Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting department, developing budgets, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic decision making.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to drive business performance.
- Supervise the accounting team and ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and compliance checks.
- Utilize ERP systems to optimize financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a financial management role, preferably as a Controller or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with experience in Epicor Prophet 21 strongly desired.
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and compliance management.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations.
