Estimator - Multifamily Construction

Position Overview
The Estimator for Multifamily Construction will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and resources required for various multifamily construction projects, including apartments and podium-style developments. The role involves collaborating with project managers and architects to ensure accurate bids and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects including apartments and podium structures.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bidding.
Review and interpret construction documents and specifications to ensure accurate estimates.
Monitor project costs and prepare budget reports throughout the construction process.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and construction methods to provide the most accurate estimates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, specifically in multifamily projects.
Strong knowledge of multifamily construction methods including wood frame and podium structures.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
