Flooring Estimator

Job Summary: The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with flooring projects. This includes analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project scope. The Estimator will collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure precise cost calculations and effective project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans.
• Determine factors influencing the cost of materials and labor.
• Prepare detailed material and labor cost estimates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.
• Manage bids from vendors and contractors.
• Use bid data to prepare detailed cost analyses.
• Present prepared estimates to management and stakeholders.
• Compile and record actual costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or flooring industry.
• Strong understanding of construction concepts and ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with commercial flooring projects.
• Knowledge of market prices for materials and labor.
• Familiarity with project management processes.
