OVERVIEW:
We are a key player in supplying fresh and frozen meat blends for pet food production, both wet and dry. We're on the lookout for a dedicated individual to handle various tasks within our operations. This includes installing, setting up, maintaining, and repairing plant equipment and ammonia refrigeration systems used in processing raw materials for pet food, pharmaceuticals, and feed industries. Your responsibilities will encompass general maintenance of the building and facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
MUST HAVE:
A high school diploma/GED and vocational technical school education.
1-3 years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
Experience in welding, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, ammonia refrigeration, and some building maintenance is necessary.
Authorization to work in the U.S.
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience in the meat processing industry is preferred
You will be exposed to cool and wet conditions and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. You should be comfortable working around raw beef, chicken, or other similar raw materials and odors. We support a drug-free workplace and conduct pre-employment drug screening.
