Process Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the production and quality assurance of anode materials used in battery manufacturing. This role involves working with vacuum systems and web coating processes to ensure high-quality output and efficiency in our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain vacuum systems and web coating equipment.
Perform operation of vacuum chambers, scheduling experiments and production runs, equipment maintenance, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating efforts with a staff of technicians and engineers.
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of equipment to prevent downtime.
Work independently to design experiments including the ability to make observations, draw scientific conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records for quality assurance.
Assist in experimental design and execution for new anode materials and processes.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in the field of vacuum deposition
Proven experience in vacuum systems, pump operations, and web coating techniques
Strong attention to detail and mechanically inclined skills
Comfortable diagnosing and maintaining equipment
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Ability to work independently and design experiments

*Must be willing to work different shift times during first couple of months including up to 7pm
