Position Overview
The Above Ground Mining Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of mining projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. The role involves coordinating teams, managing resources, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage above ground mining projects from initiation to completion.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
Coordinate with various teams including engineering, operations, and environmental to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with the project, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
Ensure that all project documentation is maintained accurately and up to date.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing above ground mining projects.
Strong knowledge of mineral extraction processes and mining operations.
Experience with private works and contractor management.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
