Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving efficiency, quality, and innovation in our production operations, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address production challenges.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Utilize CAD software to create and modify design layouts for manufacturing.
Implement Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process quality and performance.
Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Supervise maintenance and improvement of production equipment.
Lead project management efforts for manufacturing improvements and new equipment installations.
Train and mentor junior engineering staff in best practices and process improvement techniques.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or related field).
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
Experience with CAD software and design tools.
Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies; Green Belt certification is a plus.
Proven project management skills with the ability to oversee complex projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in root cause analysis.
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
